We are relentless in our drive to find what’s new and next. We’re restless by nature and are always searching for new experiences and destinations.
Join us in the Balkans for 6 full days exploring the spectacular Shar Mountains of Macedonia by snowcat. While the well known resorts across Europe are overcrowded and tracked out, the freeriding in the Balkans is completely undiscovered and waiting to be ridden. From wide slopes to narrow couloirs and natural gullies with vertical drops of up to 850 metres per run, the terrain here is suitable for both intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboard
There is no other city in Europe where you can stay in the city and explore incredible resorts with great freeriding by day, and by night have the nightlife and restaurants just steps from our hotel. So you can spend your week deep in the white-room, you’ve got a guide on-hand who knows a thing or two about hunting down the best lines, finding the best snow, and making sure you have a good time while doing it. Our local freeride guide was born and bred in Innsbruck, is a passionate backcountry snowboarder, FWQ athlete and all-round good guy.
Asahikawa is Hokkaido’s second-largest city and boasts a reputation of having the most days with snowfall in all of Japan, as well as the record for the coldest temperature (-40°C) meaning conditions are consistently deep and cold all winter. On this trip you'll not only explore the backcountry areas within the Daisetsuzan National Park, including the famous Asahidake, but you’ll also ride the lesser known ski areas – Kamui, Canmore, Kurodake, Pippu and a couple of our secret spots.
Next winter, our popular Arctic tours focus on exploring the northernmost part of Finland, known as Lapland. This is the magical Arctic region known for its dark winter days, Northern Lights, wide open wilderness areas, frozen lakes and stunning Arctic fells. When we’re not snowboarding, you’ll be living the ‘Arctic Life’ with uniquely Finnish activities including pow-surfing, husky and snowmobiling, Lapland traditions such as smoke sauna, ice-hole swimming, experiencing Sami culture and touring the picturesque backcountry by snowshoe and snowmobile.
Join us in Nelson for an all new cat ski experience at the Valhalla Range — Baldface's rugged neighbour. Expect the same deep snow quality, consistent fall-line descents with big-mountain terrain features and just general gnar to take your riding to the next level! You'll also get to ride at the legendary Kootenay resorts -Whitewater and Red, while staying in a private lodge close to all the action in downtown Nelson.

WE’RE ACCREDITED & ACCOUNTABLE
In a rapidly changing travel industry it’s important to know that your travel provider is accredited, accountable and responsible. We are a registered member of AFTA, IATA and ATTA and conduct business in accordance with the ATAS Charter and Code of Conduct. When you travel with Mint you can have peace of mind that you are booking with a qualified and established travel operator with over 20 years of expertise. SMALL GROUP GUARANTEE
We know that by offering one of the smallest client to guide ratios in the travel industry allows you to ski, snowboard or ride at your preferred pace, and ultimately leads to a better experience for everyone. All of our departures are small group tours with an average guest to guide ratio of 5 guests per guide. Our small groups allow greater manoeuvrability and access to the best experiences a destination can offer. Our groups are small enough to feel like you’re exploring a destination independently, but big enough to create a good social vibe.
YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
As we start planning our return to running tours, the safety and wellbeing of our guests, guides, staff and suppliers will remain our priority and our return to operations will be done in a safe and responsible way. We have reviewed all our health and safety policies and are implementing new minimum standards that emphasize increased hygiene and sanitation. These are in line with recommendations from the World Health Organization and following the World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC) Safe Travel protocols for tour operators.
UNBEATABLE PRE-TOUR SUPPORT
After you sign up for a tour, you will receive pre-trip emails with specific information about your tour, the arrival and departure day process, information about the destination, packing suggestions, and other Essential Trip Information to help you prepare for your trip. In addition to this, you have access to our customer care team who are just a phone-call away. And as a full-service travel agent, we are able to take care of your flights, insurance, stopovers and pre or post tour arrangements.
LOCAL GUIDES & PARTNERSHIPS
Mint opens doors around the globe. Our long-standing relationships with local guides, local legends, professional athletes, local businesses and resorts allow us special access to places and people. Travelling with us, you go behind the scenes to get a close-up view of each destination. You’re enriched by the knowledge of our experts and local guides.
We keep an element of flexibility in all our tour itineraries so we can take advantage of unexpected opportunities or adapt to weather conditions. We aim to strike the perfect balance between guided sessions and ‘you time’. After all, it’s your holiday. Although we do have an itinerary to stick to, there are always opportunities to make the journey personalised.
