Join Mint Tours for the ultimate shred mission through Canada’s legendary Powder Highway.
We’re rolling deep from Calgary to Kelowna, hitting five epic resorts along the way — Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Norquay, Panorama, and the heavy hitter, Revelstoke.
You’ll be road-tripping with a crew of local Canadian legends who grew up riding this terrain and know all the secret lines, hot spring stops, and best spots to grab a post-ride pint. This isn’t just about chasing pow — it’s about packing in all the good stuff: hockey games, curling, craft breweries, board shops, and the kind of road trip stories you’ll be telling for years.
Kick things off in Banff, riding three iconic resorts surrounded by towering peaks and a buzzing town full of food, bars, and proper après. Then it’s onto Panorama for wide-open groomers and Taynton Bowl’s backcountry-style terrain. From there, we head to Revelstoke — the crown jewel of the Powder Highway, with the most vertical in North America, deep snow, and endless alpine and tree riding. We wrap it all up in Kelowna, stoked and spent.
You’ll stay in comfy hotels, cruise in our road-trip-ready van, and let the Mint guides handle the rest. Just show up ready to ride. This is Canada, the Mint way — pow-filled days, high-energy crew, and full-send fun from start to finish.

Revelstoke - Two Days of Big Mountain Riding
Revelstoke is a Mint favorite for good reason. Sitting deep in the Selkirks, this place delivers on both terrain and snowfall. Big vertical, deep snow, long laps, and stacked tree zones — it’s a full-blown freeride playground. You’ll ride here for two full days, which is exactly what you need to get a proper feel for the place. It’s massive, and every zone you drop into opens up new lines. After riding, we stay right in downtown Revy so you can make the most of the nightlife. Post up for a craft beer, hit a live show, or catch the local scene — this town doesn’t slow down when the lifts stop spinning.
Sunshine Village - Alpine Views and All-Time Snow
Tucked high on the Continental Divide, Sunshine Village serves up big views, wide-open alpine terrain, and some of the driest snow in Canada. With three connected peaks and no signs of civilization in sight, it’s easy to feel like you’ve got the whole place to yourself. The elevation means light snow stacks up deep, and the long season keeps it riding well into spring. We spend one full day here — enough time to lap the goods, scope the bowls, and get a proper taste of what Sunshine’s all about.
Lake Louise- Iconic Views, Big Terrain
Lake Louise is as iconic as it gets. Surrounded by peaks, glaciers, and untouched forests, the views alone are worth the trip — but the riding holds its own. From cruisy groomers to steep bowls, tight chutes, and gladed zones, the terrain has a bit of everything. We spend one full day here, giving you time to explore the best lines and take in the scenery. It’s one of the largest resorts in North America, and you’ll see why it’s a must-ride stop on the Powder Highway. Don’t forget the camera — this place delivers postcard views in every direction.
Norquay - Locals’ Lines and Steep Drops
Norquay is Banff’s best-kept secret — a true locals’ mountain just minutes from town. We spend one day here riding with your guide, dialing into the zones that deliver when it’s on. If it’s a pow day, expect laps through the perfectly spaced trees in the Norquay Glades off the Mystic Chair. For steeper terrain, the North American Chair is the move — steep, stacked, and loaded with line options. Small but mighty, Norquay punches way above its size.
Panorama - Slopeside Living and Hidden Lines
Panorama is one of those hidden-in-plain-sight gems — and it’s been a key stop on our Powder Highway roadtrips for over a decade. We stay right on the hill in slopeside accommodation, so you can drop in first thing, soak in the hot tubs after last chair, and never have to leave the snow zone. The resort serves up everything from fast corduroy laps to Taynton Bowl’s big-mountain terrain — 750 acres of patrolled, ex-heliski terrain that rides like the backcountry, minus the hike. Think long tree runs, spaced glades, and stashes that stick around long after the storm. Quiet, uncrowded, and loaded with terrain, Panorama always delivers.
What’s Included – The Good Stuff
We’ve packed this trip with the good stuff — lift tickets are covered, you’ve got roadtrip-ready private transport, and you’ll be riding with experienced, friendly guides who are stoked to show you the best of Canada. You’ll stay in comfortable, well-located accommodation — whether it’s slopeside at Panorama or right in the heart of Banff or Revelstoke. After a full day chasing snow and exploring new zones, it’s all about having a warm place to dry your gear and reset. Rooms are twin-share with two queen beds, but truth is, you won’t be in them much. This tour runs full throttle — from first chair to hot springs to après beers.

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN CALGARY // TRANSFER TO BANFF
Welcome to Canada! Touch down in Calgary, grab your board bag, and meet your Mint crew at the airport. From here, it’s straight into the mountains. We hit the Trans-Canada Highway, climbing out of the prairies and into a wall of white peaks as we head for Banff National Park — Canada’s oldest and most iconic. By late afternoon, we roll into Banff, your base for the next four nights. This place is the real deal — a legit alpine town surrounded by towering mountains, frozen lakes, and world-class terrain in every direction. You’re staying right in the heart of it all, just steps from Banff’s best restaurants, pubs, and late-night spots. After check-in, your guides will get you dialed: gear set up, and a full rundown of what the week ahead looks like. Then we kick things off with a Welcome Session + crew dinner — a chance to get to know your fellow riders, get the lay of the land, and start settling into Canada mode. The roadtrip starts here.
DAYS 2–4 – BANFF’S BIG 3 // LAKE LOUISE, SUNSHINE & NORQUAY
Time to ease into the Canada rhythm — big mountains, wide-open terrain, and a slower pace that lets you soak it all in. Over the next three days, you’ll ride three of Banff’s best: Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, and Mt. Norquay. Each has its own vibe and terrain, and we’ll take our time getting to know them all.
Mornings – Every day kicks off with time to fuel up with breakfast and coffee and get your gear dialed for the day ahead. Then it’s van loaded and off to the resort of the day — your guide will have the call locked in based on conditions.
On-mountain – Each day, your guide will read the conditions and pick the best resort to ride. Expect mellow groomers to get the legs moving, followed by long alpine bowls, glades, and playful terrain — perfect for shaking off the jet lag and finding your rhythm. You’ll ride at your own pace, with your guide leading the way and pointing out the hidden gems: wind-loaded stashes, sneaky tree lines, and locals-only zones most visitors never touch. Lunch is casual — think poutine, burgers, or a warm bowl of something hearty — then it’s back out for more laps until your legs call it.
Post-ride – Afternoons in Banff are flexible and your guide will read the room — if the crew’s got gas in the tank, you might hit the Banff Hot Springs, stop for a craft beer with a view, or explore the snow-covered streets. If the vibe’s more mellow, we might take a scenic detour to Lake Louise — the real one. It’s an iconic frozen lake framed by towering peaks, and it’s the kind of place that makes you stop and stare, even if your legs are toast. Some days we might even spot elk or bighorn sheep on the drive. Whatever the plan, Banff always delivers.
Evenings – After dark, Banff turns it on. Your guides will have a dinner spot lined up — maybe a cozy pub, wood-fired pizza joint, or something a little fancy if you’re feeling it. Banff’s stacked with options: swing by a local snowboard shop, grab a late-night snack, or just wander the snowy streets. And if the crew’s feeling it, we might even hit up a round of bowling. You’ve got three nights here, and Banff always delivers.
DAY 5 – RADIUM DETOUR // ROLL INTO PANORAMA
We hit the road today, but it’s far from a rest day. After checking out, we leave Banff behind and head deeper into the Kootenays. The drive alone is worth it — glacier-fed rivers, frozen waterfalls, and snow-covered peaks around every bend.
Midway through the journey, we pull into Radium Hot Springs — a natural mineral pool carved into the cliffs of Sinclair Canyon. This is the perfect spot to soak the legs, breathe in some cold mountain air, and reset after three heavy days of riding. Don’t feel like soaking? Wander the quiet town, grab a coffee, or just take in the scenery — Radium is tucked between two massive mountain ranges and feels a world away from everything. From here, it’s a short push to Panorama Mountain Resort, where things slow down and the snow stacks up. You’ll check into slopeside digs — walk-to-the-lift accommodation with hot tubs out front and the pub next door. Once you’re settled, we’ll meet up for dinner and drinks at the T-Bar, the resort’s laid-back local hangout. Tomorrow, the lift is basically your front door. No early alarms, no long drives — just straight into the terrain.
DAY 6 & 7 – LAPS ON TAP // RIDE PANORAMA
Mornings – Wake up, grab breakfast, gear up, and walk straight to the lift — no van, no rush, just a short stroll from your room to the goods. Staying slopeside at Panorama means you’re always first in line for fresh corduroy or a powder-filled drop into Taynton Bowl. It’s about as easy as it gets.
On-mountain – You’ve got two full days to explore Panorama, one of those hidden-in-plain-sight gems that’s earned its spot on our roadtrip lineup year after year. Start with smooth groomers on the front side to get the legs going, then follow your guide into the real draw: Taynton Bowl — 750 acres of patrolled, former heliski terrain that rides like the backcountry but with lift access. It’s steep, spacious, and packed with long fall-line runs, perfectly spaced trees, and powder pockets that hang around well after the last storm. Your guide will keep the crew moving, link up the best lines, and make sure you’re getting the most out of every lap. Pano stays quiet — and that’s exactly why we love it.
Post-ride – Once you’re off the hill, you’ve got options. Head straight for the slopeside hot pools, kick back at the hotel, or grab a quick reset before heading out. Everything’s close, and there’s no need to rush — it’s all right at your doorstep.
Evenings – We keep it casual at Panorama. Wander over to the T-Bar Pub for a crew dinner — think Canadian comfort food, local beers, and plenty of stories from the day’s riding. It’s a mellow end to a big day, shared with a crew of tired, stoked riders.
DAY 8 – SCENIC SHIFT // ROAD TO REVELSTOKE
Time to pack up and keep the roadtrip rolling. After breakfast, we load the van and head north, leaving Panorama behind as we wind our way toward Revelstoke — one of the heaviest-hitting stops on the Powder Highway. This isn’t just a transfer day — it’s one of the most scenic drives in Canada. Snow-capped peaks tower above the highway, glaciers hang over valley walls, and the road carves through remote mountain passes. You’ll feel the stoke build with every mile as we get closer to Revy. By late afternoon, we roll into town and check into our downtown base, perfectly located for easy access to the mountain and Revy’s buzzing après scene. You’ll have time to dial in your gear and get prepped for the big terrain coming your way. That night, we link up at the legendary Village Idiot Pub — a local staple known for big portions, cold beers, and some of the best poutine you’ll find anywhere. It’s the perfect way to kick off the Revelstoke leg of the trip. Tomorrow, it’s on.
DAY 9 & 10 – BIG TERRAIN, BIG STOKE // RIDE REVELSTOKE
Mornings – Each morning kicks off with breakfast and a short drive to Revelstoke Mountain Resort — a Mint favorite and heavyweight on the Powder Highway. This place is massive. We’re talking North America’s longest vertical and over 15 meters of snowfall every season. It’s where pros come to film, but it’s also the kind of mountain that helps you level up fast.
On-mountain – Your Mint guide will be right there with you, helping dial in your line choice, find your flow, and push your riding at your own pace. From fresh lines in the trees to carving up long alpine groomers, every lap is progression. The terrain variety is unreal — steep tree zones, wide-open bowls, and long, leg-burning fall-line runs. One of the go-to zones is North Bowl — easily accessed, packed with features, and full of options from mellow rollers to cliff bands. It’s big terrain with big rewards.
Post-ride – After your final lap, don’t rush off. Post up for a slope-side après session at the Rockford Bar & Grill — grab a pint, warm up by the fire, and soak in the views of the Columbia River valley. Once you’ve caught your breath, we’ll roll back into downtown Revelstoke for the night.
Evenings – Back in downtown Revelstoke, the vibe stays strong. Revy has serious mountain-town energy. Expect dinner at local legends like The Village Idiot (home to stacked poutine and wild décor), craft beers at Rumpus Beer Co., or live music at The Last Drop. Whether you’re winding down or going all in, the Revy nightlife hits just right — and there’s always something happening.
DAY 11 – FAREWELL FOR NOW // DEPARTURE FROM KELOWNA
All good things must come to an end — and today, it’s time to wrap up the roadtrip. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and load into the van one last time. Your guide will transfer you to Kelowna International Airport, where the tour officially ends. If you’re heading home, it’s wheels up with a board bag full of memories and legs that have earned a solid rest. But if you’re not quite ready to leave the snow behind, we’ve got you — we can help line up an extended stay, another resort add-on, or even a side trip to keep the adventure going. However you roll out, you’ve just ticked off one of snowboarding’s ultimate bucket list tours — and we’ll see you again for the next mission.
WHY TRAVEL WITH MINT?
In a rapidly changing travel industry it’s important to know that your travel provider is accredited, accountable and responsible. Mint is a registered member of AFTA and IATA and conducts business in accordance with the ATAS Charter and Code of Conduct. When you travel with Mint you can have peace of mind that you are booking with a qualified and established travel operator with over 20 years of expertise.
WHAT HAPPENS ON ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE DAY?
Arrival and departure days are off-snow travel days, focused on getting you to and from the tour start and end points. On arrival day, you’ll meet the crew at Calgary Airport, load into the van, and begin the journey into the mountains. On departure day, your guide will transfer you from Revelstoke to Kelowna Airport for your flight home.
Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you detailed info covering everything you need to know — meeting points, maps, visa requirements, recommended flight times, and transfer details. We’ve got your back from touchdown to takeoff.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I BUDGET FOR MEALS?
As meals aren’t included in the tour, we recommend budgeting around $75–$100 CAD per day to cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks. Here’s a rough breakdown:
-
Breakfast: $10–$20 CAD (or grab something quick from a café or convenience store)
-
Lunch: $15–$25 CAD (on-mountain meals can be a bit pricier)
-
Dinner: $25–$40+ CAD (depending on whether you go casual or sit-down)
-
Snacks & drinks: $10–$20 CAD (think coffee stops, après beers, or late-night bites)
You can keep things affordable with grocery store runs or go all-in on local favorites — the choice is yours. Your guides will recommend solid options in each town to suit all budgets and dietary needs.
WHAT IF I’M TRAVELING SOLO?
Most of our guests are flying solo — and that’s the way we like it. You’ll be paired up with another solo traveler in a twin-share room (2 queen beds), and by the end of the trip, you’ll likely have a whole new crew. The shared stoke for riding and travel means groups mix well from the start.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ON THIS TOUR?
We keep it tight. Max 8 guests per tour, with 2 experienced guides. That means more flexibility, faster laps, and more personalized attention both on and off the hill.
IS THIS TOUR RIGHT FOR ME?
This tour is best suited to strong intermediate and advanced riders. You should be comfortable making turns in powder, navigating trees, holding speed on traverses, and adapting to mixed terrain. Not sure? Talk to our team — we’ll help you figure it out.
WHICH RESORTS WILL WE VISIT?
You’ll ride a stacked lineup: Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Mt. Norquay, Panorama, and Revelstoke. Each offers something different, from iconic bowls to hidden tree zones.
CAN I ARRIVE EARLY OR STAY LONGER?
Absolutely. We can help build a custom travel plan around your roadtrip — whether that’s arriving a few days early, tacking on a stop after, or exploring more of Canada. Just ask.
ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED?
Flights aren’t included, but we’re happy to help you find the best routes with no booking fees.
DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?
Yes — comprehensive travel insurance is required for all Mint guests. We also offer snow-specific coverage at a discounted rate. Lock it in as soon as you book.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I BOOK?
Once you’re in, we’ll send a booking confirmation, detailed travel guide, and ongoing updates. 30 days out, you’ll get a Pre-Departure Guide with everything you need to know. Just before you arrive, you’ll be added to a group chat with your tour manager and guides so you can stay connected.
CAN I BRING A NON-RIDING PARTNER?
Sorry, this trip is all about the snow. The Powder Highway Tour isn’t suitable for non-riders.
HOW DO I CHECK MY ABILITY LEVEL?
Chat with one of our tour specialists. We’ll talk through your experience, style, and goals to make sure this tour fits — or point you to another one that does.
HOW DO I GET TO CALGARY / FROM KELOWNA?
We’ll provide you with arrival and departure times for Calgary and Kelowna. If you’re new to Canada, we can help with logistics and even connect you with other tour guests flying in around the same time.
HOW DO I CHECK AVAILABILITY?
Simple — reach out to one of our tour specialists. This is a small group tour and spots go quick, so the earlier you book, the better.
DO YOU TAKE SKIERS & SNOWBOARDERS?
Absolutely. Skiers and snowboarders are welcome. Just note — this tour is led by snowboard guides.
CAN I BOOK A SINGLE ROOM?
Not on this one — to keep the trip affordable and the vibes high, we run a twin-share setup with two queen beds per room. You’ll be paired with another guest (most people are traveling solo), and honestly, you’ll barely be in the room — this tour is packed from first chair to last round.
Pro tip: pack some ear plugs just in case your roomy snores like a snowcat. If you’re unsure about sharing, give us a shout — we’ll talk you through it.
CAN I RENT GEAR?
We highly recommend bringing your own setup for this tour. That said, if you need help arranging rentals, let us know in advance and we’ll assist where possible.
WHAT EQUIPMENT SHOULD I BRING?
Weather on the Powder Highway ranges from 0°F to -13°F (-18°C to -25°C). We’ll send you a gear list, but at a minimum you’ll need:
- Waterproof outerwear – jacket & pants
- Insulated mid-layer
- Merino or synthetic base layers
- Waterproof gloves + merino liners
- Low-light & high-light goggles
- Sunglasses, beanie, balaclava, and helmet
- Your board/skis, boots, bindings, outerwear
WHO WILL BE ON MY TOUR?
Expect a diverse, like-minded group — solo travelers, seasoned riders, and passionate powder chasers. Everyone’s here for the same reason: to ride hard, explore deep, and have a good time.
ARE LIFT TICKETS INCLUDED?
Yes — all lift tickets for the resorts we visit are included in your tour package. However, if you have an IKON Pass for winter 25/26, we offer a $520 USD discount on tour price since all resorts are on IKON Pass.
ARE MEALS INCLUDED?
Meals are not included in this tour. This gives you the freedom to explore local food spots and eat when and where it suits you. Our guides will recommend great places to eat and make group dinner reservations most nights if you’d like to join in.
CAN YOU CATER TO DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
While meals are not included, we understand dietary needs are important. Our team and guides are happy to recommend restaurants and food options that cater to a range of dietary preferences including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and others. Let us know in advance if you have specific requirements so we can support you throughout the trip.
WILL I HAVE TIME TO EXPLORE THE TOWNS WE STAY IN?
Definitely. While the focus is on riding, we stay in prime locations like downtown Banff and Revelstoke — close to restaurants, pubs, shops, and hot springs. After the lifts stop spinning, you’ll have time to explore, chill with the crew, or check out the local scene.
IS THERE A REST DAY?
While there’s no official rest day built into the schedule, Day 5 and Day 8 are off-snow travel days, giving your legs a rest. These are far from downtime — with stops like Radium Hot Springs and scenic mountain drives through the heart of the Rockies, they’re still packed with adventure. If you need to take it easier during the riding days, that’s totally fine. Your guides will help you pace things out, or you can opt to sit one out, soak in a hot spring, explore town, or grab a massage. This is a fast-paced tour, but there’s always space to recharge when you need it.
DO YOU PROVIDE A DETAILED ITINERARY?
Yes. Before you travel we’ll send you a Pre Departure Guide which has a full day-by-day itinerary with resort visits, travel times, accommodation details, and what to expect each day — including tips on what to pack.
WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE DO WE TRAVEL IN?
You’ll travel in a comfortable, private van with your group and guides. Plenty of room for your gear and some good roadtrip tunes along the way.
IS WIFI AVAILABLE DURING THE TOUR?
Yes — all accommodations offer free WiFi. Cell service is generally solid in towns and most resorts, but can be patchy in remote areas or on the road between locations. We recommend having data so you’re contactable on during the tour and not just reliant on WIFI.
WHAT IF THE SNOW CONDITIONS AREN’T GREAT?
Your guides will adjust each day’s plan based on weather and snowpack to get you into the best zones possible.
DO I NEED TO TIP?
Tipping isn’t mandatory, but it’s always appreciated — especially if you feel your guides went above and beyond. A good rule of thumb is around $10–$20 CAD per day, per guide. Tips can be given in cash at the end of the tour or via another method your guide may suggest.
In Canada, tipping at restaurants, bars, and cafés is standard. Expect to tip 15–20% on food and drink bills, especially for table service. Most places will include a tip suggestion when you pay by card, making it easy to follow local norms. Your guides will be happy to offer advice on tipping during the trip if you’re unsure.
