Furano is home to some of the best fall line riding in Japan with steeper terrain than most resorts in Hokkaido. It’s location in Central Hokkaido also means it gets some of the lightest and driest snow. Guests to Furano will immediately experience the warmth and hospitality of the locals along with amazing terrain and breathtaking views stretching across the valley to mountains and a smoking volcano. If you’re looking for some freshies, join one of our off-piste guiding sessions, where we’ll take you out of the ski area boundaries and hunt down some lines with up to 900m of vertical each run. Furano is also a great base for day trips to the nearby resorts of Kamui and Tomamu and for guided backcountry missions to Tokachidake, Kurodake and Asahidake.
