EASY AIRPORT TRANSFERS
This is a fly-in/fly-out stress-free trip. Once your flight arrives in Vancouver, grab your bags and get on the bus to Whistler. We’ve arranged door-to-door airport transfers. It’s a scenic drive up the Sea-to-Sky Highway from the airport straight to our hotel. Grab a window seat and in just over 2 hours you will arrive. Our guides will be on-hand to greet you and help you settle in.
WHAT BIKE TO BRING
If you could bring any bike, it would be a long travel enduro bike that can handle the gnarliness of the bike parks, yet pedal to the surrounding backcountry trails. If you are trying to decide what bike to bring, keep in mind that typical BC Coast terrain warrants a bike that can handle the steepest trails, rocks and large jumps which will take you and your bike to the edge. You'll also need a full-face helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves. Ask us for a full gear list.
ACCOMMODATION
Throughout the tour you'll stay in the modern Aava hotel with bike friendly facilities that are close to the lifts and near all the après action. Our single share rooms are equipped with private ensuite bathroom, TV, and free WiFi. The hotels also includes bike valet, storage, wash and tune station, heated outdoor pools or hot tub, laundry and on-site restaurants.
TRANSPORT
For our day tours we'll travel in private transport with a custom-built bike rack system made exclusively for mountain bike adventure touring. You'll only need to build your bike once on arrival day, and our experienced guides make it look easy, transporting you and your bike on each day tour.
LOCAL HOSTS
This tour is hosted by our local Canadian team along with our Mint Tours Australian host. Not only do they know every marked trail, they are looking forward to showing you some of their ‘local’s only’ secret spots. They are always more than happy to provide you with some tips and feedback on the mountain, and share a beer and some laughs at the end of the day.
ABILITY LEVEL
This tour is open to intermediate to advanced riders. Each day your guides will give helpful pointers on any questions you may have. Probably the most important aspect of mountain biking is the willingness to sharpen your skills. For riders looking to up-skill, we strongly recommend joining a skills clinic at the start of the tour. You'll get some tips and tricks from a resident pro from the outset, so you're ready to tackle BC's best bike park terrain for the rest of the tour.
