Join our 12 day roadtrip along Canada's famous Powder Highway

Ride more vertical, more terrain and more powder snow than you ever imagined on our 12 day tour along Canada’s famous Powder Highway with our local guide Rachel Newton leading the way.

Arrive into Kelowna and be transported into B.C.’s Selkirk Mountains. Here way stay in Revelstoke, a town renowned for its powder. These days, when people want the guaranteed deep stuff, they either go to Japan or Revelstoke. We stay in ‘Revy’ for 5 nights which gives us the best chance of scoring a big storm cycle. We stay on-mountain so when it snows overnight we’re only metres from the gondola the next morning. Spend your days floating surfy turns through the deep powder and your afternoons and evenings visiting the slope-side après bars and our favourite restaurants in town.

We then head south, take the car ferry across Arrow Lake and end up in Rossland and Red Mountain, home town of our head Mint Women guide Rachel and one of the coolest mountain towns in north America. Rachel is on-hand to let you in on some of her ‘local’s only’ secret spots. We stay on-mountain at Red for 3 nights in luxe ski-in/ski-out luxury so each morning you can simply strap in and ride to the chairlift.

No Powder Highway tour would be complete without experiencing the town of Nelson, home to the legendary ski area of Whitewater, plus around 80 bars and restaurants. As this is our last stop, we stay downtown to live and breathe the Kootenay lifestyle with our homegrown guides and friends.

ABOUT REVELSTOKE

While the town of Revelstoke has more than a century of mountain-sport history, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is practically brand new. It's Canada’s newest ski resort which holds the claim to the longest lift-served vertical in North America and has some serious stats - 43% is intermediate and 45% is advanced terrain. You'll hone your freeride skills by riding at Revy. This big mountain playground gives snowboarders the ultimate push. Just a short drive from the resort is the town of Revelstoke. A well-preserved Victorian town. There's a good variety of restaurants, bars, shops and cafes plus some 'local flavoured' nightlife.

ABOUT ROSSLAND & RED MOUNTAIN

Rossland is that rare beast: A place of small town charm at the base of a world-class ski resort. Its historic downtown has all mod cons, from gourmet espresso to book stores. And all of it is held together by the famously friendly locals and their commitment to making sure that Canadian Hospitality still means something. RED is known at the last great unspoiled resort. There's a huge amount of terrain spread across three mountains that feature everything from wide-open groomers to steep, powder-filled glades. The abundant snow, friendly staff and locals, and the short lift lines are just a few reasons why our guests fall in love with RED.

ABOUT NELSON & WHITEWATER

The Kootenay township of Nelson is famous for its community spirit, fiercely independent stores, bars and coffee. Set on Kootenay Lake, Nelson is home to a strong mountain community with Whitewater Ski Resort just a 20 minute drive away. Beyond that, world-class backcountry and industry leading cat and heli operations including Baldface Lodge call this town home. This resort has everything, deep powder, bowls, challenging tree runs and fun side hits around every corner.

PREMIUM ACCOMMODATION

Throughout the tour you'll stay in premium accommodation that's in the best location. In Revelstoke and Red Mountain you'll stay in luxe ski-in/ski-out hotels so you can maximise your time on-snow. In Nelson you'll stay in a boutique lake-side hotel, close to all the downtown action and just a short drive from the resort. All rooms are twin share (2 beds) with modern facilities including hot tubs and/or saunas so you can rest your legs after long days riding powder.

SMALL GROUPS

We know that by offering one of the smallest client to guide ratio in the industry allows you to snowboard at your preferred pace, and ultimately leads to a better experience for everyone. We have a maximum of 6 people per guide on this tour. This ensures you get the most out of your time with us, and keeping the groups small means less time waiting and more time riding powder!

PRE-TOUR SUPPORT

After you sign up for a tour, you will receive pre-trip emails with specific information about your tour, the arrival and departure day process, information about the destination, packing suggestions, and other relevant information to help you prepare for your trip.
