GET A TASTE OF LIFE IN THE ROCKIES
Jasper was devastated by Summer wildfires but the township is rebuilding thanks to an unbelievable community spirit. Tourism is a critical part of Jasper’s economy, and we’re looking forward to support local businesses as they welcome back tourists.
On this trip you’ll be hosted by Jasper locals who are passionate about the town they grew up in. You’ll get to shred at their home resort, Marmot Basin with plenty of insider local knowledge and good times on-snow. You’ll stay downtown which puts you in the perfect spot to drink and dine at the restaurants and bars in this historical township. You’ll also see plenty of the Canadian wildlife and scenery with a guided wildlife tour and icewalk into the deepest reaches of Maligne Canyon.
Ride at Marmot Basin – you’ll spend 4 days riding with our local guides. Marmot has the highest base elevation of all the Canadian Rockies resorts you can expect reliable snow quality and a relaxed, crowd-free vibe. You’ve got the best of both worlds terrain wise with plenty of options both above and below the treeline. If the trip lines up with a storm, you can expect super cold and dry Alberta powder that will last for days thanks to cold temps, favorable aspects and the high elevation.

About Jasper
Spanning over 11,000 square kilometres, Jasper is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies. Known for its vast wilderness, peaks, wildlife and outstanding natural beauty, Jasper unlike it's cousin Banff, boasts fewer tourists making it more of a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
About Marmot Basin
Only 20 minutes from the town of Jasper, Marmot Basin is known for open bowls, groomers, steep terrain, epic views and friendly locals. Spring is the best time of year to ride as the weather is stable with more blue sky days with the off chance of a spring pow storm.
LODGING
You'll stay in the heart of Jasper at the Crimson Hotel. Enjoy comfortable rooms with modern amenities, including private ensuite bathrooms, TV, and free WiFi. The hotel also features a fitness center, on-site restaurant, hot tubs, and cozy lounge areas, making it the perfect base for exploring the Canadian Rockies.
SNOW & CONDITIONS
Spring riding! The sun will be shining and the temperatures warm, between 0c and 11c meaning dark lenses, spring gloves and spring wax. Marmot has some great outdoor decks for cold beers and entertainment throughout the week but don't be surprised if we get a powder day.
SMALL GROUPS
When we are on mountain, we keep our group size small for a more personal experience between our guests and guides. Our typical guide to guest ratio is 1 : 6. This ensures you get the most out of your time with us, and keeping the groups small means less time waiting and more time riding.
