Our background is deeply rooted in the snow industry. From competitive snowboarding, judging halfpipe and slopestyle events, working for ski areas and working for brands.

After years of travelling the world and working in the industry, we decided to share our experience. So in 1999, we started Mint Tours. It was important for us to do things right from the start. So we have been an accredited, accountable and responsible business from day one and we’ve made a commitment to support ‘local’ wherever possible.

From humble beginnings in Queenstown, New Zealand, we’ve grown into an international snow travel operation. Japan has been our northern hemisphere base for over 20 years, and we have deep local connections in Europe, Central Asia, North America, South America and New Zealand. Nowadays, our network of guides, athletes, staff and loyal customers, drive us to keep searching for not only the best snow, but also the best travel experiences.
