Ciao ladies! Get ready to embrace the magic of Italy
Italy will steal your breath with its stunning scenery, tantalize your taste buds with incredible food, and charm you with its rich culture—but the real magic happens on the mountain with Christina Bruno, our head Mint Women guide. Christina brings years of experience, a deep love of the mountains, and her signature energy to every trip. While there’s no formal coaching on this tour, she’s always happy to share tips, line choices, and little pointers to help you ride more confidently and make the most of the terrain. Whether it’s your first trip with Mint or your fifth, you’ll feel supported, included, and stoked to ride with the crew.
Your Italian adventure kicks off in Milan before heading deep into the Alps to Livigno—a remote village with authentic alpine charm and a laid-back local vibe. Set on the Swiss border and perched high in the mountains, Livigno is known for its deep snow, long winters, and excellent late-season conditions. March often brings fresh snowfall and sunshine, making it the perfect time to explore the powder-filled bowls and playful terrain.
All week long, you’ll be based slope-side in a welcoming alpine lodge, just steps from the lifts. Wake up to mountain views, grab a fresh espresso and pastry, and head straight out for a day of riding with your guide and the Mint Women crew. Expect ripping groomers, powder stashes, long mountain lunches, and the occasional Bombardino to warm the soul. After riding, unwind with Aperol and good company as the sun dips behind the peaks. This trip is all about great snow, great food, and even better people—la dolce vita, snowboard style.

From powder stashes to side hits to the best lunch spots on the hill, they’ll show you a side of the mountain most visitors never see. With local knowledge and on-snow experience, you'll get more laps, better snow, and a deeper connection to the terrain and culture.
Snow-Sure and Stunning
Livigno's high altitude and geographical position naturally deliver a long and snowy winter, typically from late November to early May. The village has been carefully modernized without compromising the pristine surroundings and maintaining its traditions and architecture, while developing a growing reputation as one of the best year-round resorts in Europe.
Extend Your Euro Vacay
Why stop at one tour? Combo up our Italy and Innsbruck Freeride Tours for two unforgettable weeks of snowboarding, culture, and good times—all led by Mint Women head guide, Christina Bruno. Fuel up with a delicious buffet breakfast while soaking in those mountain views, then meet your local snowboard guide at 9:00 am in the lobby. Today is your Livigno warm-up, a relaxed exploration of the resort with the added bonus of some light coaching. If it’s been a while since you last rode, this is the perfect way to ease back in and pick up some key tips to set you up for a successful and fun-filled trip.
After your final run, enjoy some downtime to relax and refresh. As the afternoon unfolds, we’ll head to a welcoming enoteca. You’ll spend your days exploring Livigno’s incredible variety of wide-open trails, and if conditions align, there will be options to ride off-piste and in the powder with the group. While formal coaching isn’t the focus, you’ll find your snowboarding naturally progresses as you cover more ground, tackle diverse terrain, and potentially score some epic powder days alongside your new friends. Expect nothing but good vibes and fun times riding with the girls. Our mission is to guide you to the best snow and terrain, where everyone feels comfortable and stoked.

These evenings are a highlight – a chance to bond over delicious food and drink, explore the quaint streets, and enjoy the company of a fantastic group.
Day 7 : Departure
Departure Day has arrived, and while it’s time to say arrivederci to Livigno, we hope you’re leaving with incredible memories and a heart full of Italian adventure. After a final breakfast together, we’ll check out of the hotel and begin our drive to Innsbruck International Airport, where this tour concludes. For those not quite ready for the fun to end, our Innsbruck Tour (details HERE) kicks off right here – the perfect way to keep the snowboarding journey going!
Your enjoyment and safety are our top priorities, which is why we ask you to self-evaluate your snowboarding ability before booking. Being realistic about your current skill level will help ensure this tour is the perfect fit for an unforgettable experience. If you’re on the fence, our team is here to help! Give us a call for personalized insights and recommendations.
Is This Tour Right for You?
We want you to have the best possible time on tour, so it’s important to make sure this trip matches your current riding ability. This tour is best suited to confident intermediate snowboarders who are comfortable exploring the whole mountain and ready for a bit of adventure beyond the groomers.
Not sure if it’s the right fit? No stress—just reach out! Our team is happy to chat and help you figure it out.
If you can say “yep, that’s me” to the points below, you’re good to go:
✔ I can confidently link turns on most groomed runs and adjust my speed for different terrain
✔ I’m comfortable riding off-piste or in variable snow conditions
✔ I can load and unload a chairlift without assistance
✔ I’m keen to explore new zones and ride with a fun, supportive crew
Your safety and enjoyment are always our priority. Being honest about your ability helps us create the best experience possible for you and the group.
Budgeting For The Tour
You can definitely enjoy Livigno on a leaner budget—but if you’re planning to hit the spa, do some shopping, and indulge at dinner or après (and why not, you’re in Italy!), it’s worth setting aside a bit extra. We recommend budgeting around EUR 350–450 for the week to comfortably cover lunches, dinners, snacks, apres, and a few treats along the way.
Here’s a rough guide to what you can expect:
- Lunch (6x) – around EUR 15–25 per meal
- Dinner (5x) – around EUR 35–50 per meal
- Day spa entry – approx. EUR 55 per visit
There’s plenty of flexibility—whether you’re keeping things low-key or leaning into la dolce vita with long lunches and post-ride pampering.
How Far In Advance Do I Need To Book?
While we can’t guarantee how quickly it will fill, we advise booking early to secure your desired travel dates. Historically, tours tend to reach full capacity before our final booking cut-off of 90 days prior to departure. Book now to avoid missing your chance!
Who’ll Be Riding With You?
You’ll be shredding with a supportive community of fellow female snowboarders who are just as excited about your Italian adventure as you are. Get ready for high-fives, shared laughter, and a whole lot of mountain love.
What Happens On Arrival and Departure Day?
Arrival and departure days are your travel days to and from the tour – no snowboarding is planned for these days. Upon booking, you’ll receive our comprehensive tour guide. This essential resource provides a step-by-step breakdown of the arrival and departure process, along with crucial information on flights, meeting points, your gear list, recommended travel times, visa requirements, and transportation logistics.
What If I’m Traveling Solo?
While our standard accommodation is in twin-share rooms (and we’ll pair you with another solo female traveler), don’t worry about joining on your own! Our groups are incredibly welcoming, and many of our participants travel solo, forging great connections through their shared passion for snowboarding and adventure.
Which Resorts Will We Visit?
Livigno’s two resorts, Carosello 3000 and Mottolino offer a fantastic blend of well-groomed slopes, excellent snowparks, freeride opportunities, stunning scenery, and a vibrant après-ski scene, making it a top destination for snowboarders. Carosello 3000 tends to be sunnier and more cruising-oriented, while Mottolino is a freestyle and freeride mecca with challenging runs and great snow. The combination provides a truly diverse and memorable snowboarding experience.
Can I Arrive Early or Stay On After The Tour?
You can easily add extra nights to your booking to make the most of your European journey. We strongly recommend arriving in Italy a day before the tour begins to allow ample time to recover from travel and any jetlag, ensuring you’re feeling your best for the slopes. Milan, our starting point, is a fantastic city brimming with culture, fashion, and delicious food – well worth exploring before we head to the mountains. Similarly, Innsbruck, where the tour concludes, is a picturesque Alpine city with its own unique charm and attractions, making it an ideal place to extend your stay.
Are Flights Included?
No, flights are not included, but Mint can provide you with a list of the best flights to book to match up with your tour and arrival or departure times.
Do I Need Travel Insurance?
Travel insurance is mandatory. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses, snowsports and emergency repatriation. We also strongly recommend it covers trip cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. For US citizens, we recommend Spot Insurance https://www.getspot.com/trip-affiliates/mint-tours.
What Happens Once I’ve Booked?
Once you sign up for a tour, you’ve got a dedicated tour manager as your point of contact. They can assist with any pre-trip questions about flights, transfers, insurance or what gear to bring. Your tour manager can also arrange pre or post tour travel to other resorts or cities.
90 days before the tour starts – you will receive a Pre Departure Guide which contains important information to help you prepare for your trip. You will need to complete a digital waiver, participant information form, ability questionnaire and advise your arrival and departure flight details.
1 day before your tour starts – your guide will add you to a WhatsApp group which will be used for tour communication throughout the week.
How Do I Check My Ability Level?
To make sure you have the best possible experience, the easiest way to check if a tour matches your ability level is to speak with one of our helpful tour managers. They can chat with you about your riding and guide you towards the ideal tour for your skills and goals.
How Do I Get To Milan?
