Customer Service
Winter 2025–2026 (Seasonal Position)
Location: Asahikawa, Hokkaido – Mint Tours Head Office
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and snow-loving individual to join our team in a seasonal Customer Service role, based at our Japan head office in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. In this role, you’ll be the key link between our guests and our guiding and lessons team—welcoming guests on arrival, assisting with check-ins, managing rental equipment, handling inquiries, and helping coordinate daily operations. You’ll answer emails, phone calls, and in-person questions with a calm and solutions-focused approach, while also managing bookings, sharing local tips, and supporting general logistics.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience in customer service, tourism, or hospitality, along with strong communication skills, a mature and professional attitude to work, and a positive, flexible approach to the season. You must also be familiar with ski-school or guiding, backcountry travel, and snowboarding culture, and be confident using email, booking platforms, and basic admin tools. Bonus points if you speak Japanese, have experience in guest services or tour operations, or hold a Japanese or International Driver’s License. Applicants must be fluent in English and hold a valid Working Holiday Visa or appropriate work rights in Japan for the 2025–2026 winter season.
This is a full-time seasonal role, based on five days per week. You’ll work an average of 40 hours per week across the season. You can expect busier weeks during peak season (mid-December to mid-February), and a lighter schedule during quieter periods.
Visa Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you’ll need a valid Working Holiday Visa or other legal working rights for Japan during the 2025–2026 winter season.
