Join us for a midweek powder tour to Grand Targhee, Wyoming in 2023

Are you time poor and just need quality skiing and riding without having to learn a new resort trail map? Then our Grand Targhee Express Tour will give you the ultimate advantage as you are led by a host who knows the local area and terrain. Our ‘Express Tours’ are designed to give you everything Mint Tours is known for, but condensed into a short and sweet, all-inclusive tour.

Located on the west side of the Tetons, GT is known for wide-open terrain, easy to ride trees and breathtaking views. Add in a tonne of light powder snow (more than 500 inches annually) and lack of lift lines during midweek and you’ve got a ski & snowboard paradise.

New for 2023, will be the high-speed Colter Lift on Peaked Mountain which will offer up impressive views of the Tetons with access to over 600 acres of intermediate and advanced terrain. We cannot wait to check out the new runs previously reserved for cat-skiing.

For those wanting a longer tour of Wyoming, we’ve scheduled the Grand Targhee Express Tour right after our popular Jackson Hole Express Tour which gives you a total of 8 nights in the Tetons fully hosted by our US Mint guides.

A TYPICAL DAY IN GRAND TARGHEE

Each morning we’ll walk to the base area, jump on the chair then spend the day exploring the spots to find the best conditions on the day. Check the terrain park, or take your pick of one of the many bowls, tree runs and steeps. After riding we’ll always heed to apres at the Trap Bar - best Bloody Marys around by the way.

OPTIONAL BACKCOUNTRY

Mount Glory is a 1,600’ hike up the boot pack to the summit. Skins are not required, so this tour is great for snowboarders or skiers who lack touring gear. There are multiple descent options, many offering almost 3,000’ of turns down to Teton Pass where the shuttle will pick us up and take us back to the top of the pass.

ACCOMMODATION

The slopeside Teewinot Lodge rooms feature two queen pillow-top beds, bath and shower combo, high-definition television, telephone, coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, and complimentary wireless internet.

TRANSPORTATION

We include private transfers from either Jackson Hole Airport or downtown Jackson for those guests combining both tours. When in GT, no mountain transport is needed as we're ski-in / ski-out for the entire tour.

SMALL GROUPS

We offer one of the smallest client to guide ratio’s in the industry which ultimately leads to a better experience for everyone. Our small groups allow greater manoeuvrability and ease of access to the best areas a destination can offer. When we are on mountain, our guest to guide ratio is maximum 5 people per guide. This also makes for a more personal experience between our guests and guides.
