Join the MSC crew in Japan for an unforgettable tour to Myoko & Madarao. We spend a total of 8 days riding the amazing terrain in Myoko with our highly experienced guides who are here to show you their favourite secret powder spots and offer tips along the way. We also do a day trip to Madarao for a day of riding some of the best natural terrain and tree runs in Japan. Our hotel is located centrally in town so each night we will get out and explore the classic Japanese restaurants and bars. Myoko is a monster of a resort with 4 ski areas spread out across this 2,454m volcano. Each resort has it’s own different terrain and scores varying amounts of snow depending on the type of storm. It’s not uncommon to get 60cm at one resort and only 10cm at another, so make sure you speak to your guides to get the hot tip on where the snow will fall! Akakura-Onsen is home to some mellow terrain with a few secret powder stashes that usually lay untouched all day. Akakura-Kanko is our favourite for a powder day with steep terrain, tree runs and plenty of secret spots. Ikenotaira has some great park features for all ability levels. Suginohara is home to Japan’s longest groomed run, a leg burning 8.5km, and also has some steeps, trees and a huge terrain park. There really is something for everyone at this resort! Madarao is hands down one of the most fun mountains we ride in Japan. This place is home to some of the best tree riding and natural terrain in the region. Madarao is unique as it not only allows tree riding, they encourage it! This resort also builds in natural terrain park features into the mountain to create drops, log rails and pillows which are unbeatable on a powder day.
