Mint Chicks Canada

Mint Chicks Snowboard Tours

Resorts: Red Mountain, Panorama & Whitewater
Join us next March as our Mint Chicks crew roadtrip through BC and ride at our all-time favourite Canadian Resorts. Along the way you’ll progress your freeride skills, get involved in the local scene, meet new people, make new friends and share a lot of laughs. We run the tour during March which is the best time of year for consistent snowfall and pow days!
We warm-up riding at Panorama, staying in ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Not only do we love the friendly ski-in/ ski-out village vibe, ‘Pano’ has some of the longest fall-line groomers in Canada, powder-filled tree runs, Canada’s largest slope-side hot pools and the real highlight is Taynton Bowl. Over 700 acres of patrolled ex-heli ski terrain. Powder heaven! We then head to Red Mountain where we have 2 full days of snowboard coaching with our good mate Rachel Newton, who’s a legend kiwi rider, ex-Winter Olympian and Red Mountain local. Get your freeride skills dialled while exploring ‘Red’. The terrain here is amazing and offers steeps, open trees, powder meadows and groomers on 360-degrees of exposure. Then to top it all off we stay in Nelson and ride at Whitewater. Nelson is one of the best towns in BC (and our guides home town) with friendly locals, amazing locally sourced, organic food, yoga studios a-plenty, craft beer and most importantly, is home to Whitewater Resort which is easily the funnest and most underrated ski resort in Canada. Deep powder, bowls, epic tree runs, fun side hits around every corner, friendly locals and then there is the food. Whitewater has the best mountain food, EVER!
Whether you want to pack in maximum time on snow, or take it easy, we’ve lined up some uniquely Canadian experiences for you along the way. For the more adventurous we’ve got Cat-ski days and Heli-ski days. If you’re looking to relax, we’ve got plenty of options with day trips to local restaurants and cafe’s, hot springs, day spa’s, yoga sessions and massages.
To give you a true locals perspective, our local Canadian guide who grew up shredding all over the Kootenay Mountains is hosting the tour. We’re looking forward to showing you some of the ‘local’s only’ secret spots and many of the sights along the way.
The Mint Chicks Canada Tour is proudly supported by Trapper Snowboards, handmade in BC. These are truly unique boards made from local BC materials and we’ve got a demo fleet for you to test out. Along the way we travel in our own private Mint van loaded up with boards and local knowledge. We stay in comfortable 4 star hotel accommodation and with the Mint crew leading the way, all you have to do is show up and ride, we’ll take care of the rest. Good times are guaranteed!
