Don’t miss our 12 day Bike Park roadtrip across British Columbia. We kick off the tour in Vancouver and finish in Kelowna, and along the way you’ll get to ride the legendary bike parks at Whistler, Sun Peaks and Silverstar.
We spend 4 days riding Whistler Bike Park which is easily the most ridden and lusted after in the world. From the moment you get into town, the vibe is almost surreal. Often called Disneyland for mountain bikers, this town lives and breathes mountain bikes like nowhere else, and seemingly everyone gets it here. The park has a huge range of trails for absolutely every level and style of rider, all accessed by fast, modern lifts and ending in a dreamy town where evenings are spent exploring the endless drinking and dining options that you’d expect from a world-class destination.
We spend 3 days riding at Sun Peaks Bike Park which is home to some of the best lift accessed trails in interior BC, and trust us, you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you arrive. The mountain greets you with lush green forests, perfectly saturated soil, and a small mountain-town vibe that makes you feel right at home. The village, nestled at the base of the mountain, has no shortage of amenities; bike shops, restaurants, and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Our hotel is mere steps to the heart of the action.
We spend 2 days riding at SilverStar. SilverStar Bike Park is steeped in mountain bike history and some of the best trails you’ll find anywhere. Outside of Whistler, Silver Star has by-far the most established mountain bike trail network in British Columbia. The mountain boasts a vertical drop of 760 meters, with 40 mountain bike trails – the majority of which are blue rated flow trails. Their Comet chair which is just a short ride down from our hotel, has an easy to use 4-bike tray system and lightening fast upload speed, transporting you to the top in under 7 minutes. This facilitates some serious lap smashing potential!
Throughout the tour we stay in modern and comfortable hotels and with our Mint guides leading the way, all you have to do is show up and ride, we’ll take care of the rest.
