Ski Resorts we Visit
Levi, Finland
Levi is home to world class skiing and snowboarding in Finland, and the mother of all apres-ski. Levi offers something for everyone, and the exceptional quality of the in-bound runs and park makes Levi one of the best resorts in Finland. Being within the Arctic Circle, Levi gets hit with a good amount of Finnish snow on and off-piste, and is renowned for perfect terrain for all riding abilities. Top the day by enjoying Levi´s legendary après-ski, where you can party like there is no tomorrow, see a live band, check out the big screens at the sports bars, or try your luck against the locals at karaoke.
Ylläs, Finland
We visit the largest resort in Lapland, Ylläs, which boasts some of the longest runs in Finland. Ylläs is a free-riders dream with plenty of access to off-piste areas. Plus, there is four different terrain parks, wide and well-groomed runs, and an incredible backdrop for making those perfect turns.
Tromsø Alpinpark, Norway
Tromsø Alpinpark is Europe’s most Northerly ski resort. It’s even further north than Qasigiannguit in Greenland! Have your camera handy, as there is amazing views of the surrounding fjords and mountains.
Riksgränsen, Sweden
Riksgränsen is one of the highlights of the tour. The freeride terrain here is insane, with huge rock drops, big powder faces, rolling pistes and there is never any queues at the lifts. Affordable Heliskiing is also one of the major draw cards in Riksgränsen. There are 60 peaks in the area with an altitude over 1300m. For anyone wanting to try heli-skiing, we can get that extra bump of vertical to score some fresh powder turns.

Björkliden, Sweden
Björkliden is one of Sweden’s most legendary ski resorts, due to its incredible backcountry, magnificent views and quality of natural snow. Challenge yourself on one of the many off-piste runs and keep an eye out for the Finnish pro riders, who come here every spring to ride.
Svanstein Ski, Sweden
Svanstein has some serious cred in the snowboard world. The resort is operated by snowboarding legends Johan Olofsson, Ingemar Backman and Jacob Söderqvist. Staying at Svanstein is a truly unforgettable Swedish-style lodge experience. This is one of those places that is off the beaten path and very few people know about. If you do your research, you’ll be keen to ride some Swedish pow. Apart from the super light dry snow and perfect freeride terrain, the resort has 16 marked runs plus a terrain park with a mini pipe. The locals will show us a few of their favourite runs and if the conditions are right, they will operate the snowmobiles so we’ve got access to the best backcountry zones. After riding, enjoy the sauna and slope-side hot tub.
