Join us above the arctic circle in Finnish Lapland and Northern Norway

For winter 2022, we’ve scheduled two very different arctic camps including our popular Pyhä Lucky Ranch camp located in Finnish Lapland, PLUS a unique backcountry program based at Tamok, in northern Norway and hosted by local guides Jarkko-Juhani Henttonen and Sami Modenius.

Our Nordic Backcountry Tours are suitable for most ability levels and are a great way to learn how to ride safely through alpine terrain either on snowboards with snowshoes, splitboards or touring skis.  We even have Ilahu Pow Surf boards available to ride throughout the camps and if you’re new to backcountry touring, we have rental options available via local retailers.

Both the Finnish Lapland program and Tamok, Norway tours are in a cooperation with Lucky Ranch Pyhä, Tamokhuset with Cohkka Guides, Ilahu Pow Surf boards and Get Arctic rental.

Whether you are looking to progress your powder riding skills or just eager to discover a few secret spots in the Nordic backcountry, the Nordic Backcountry Tours are for you.

The headquarter of this camp is in Lucky Ranch holiday centre in a small town of Pyhäjärvi close to Pyhä ski resort. Lucky Ranch has many large, wide open fells and lots of tree riding options for most abilities. Pyhä is known as the main freeriding zone in Finland and Antti from Lucky Ranch is the man to show you how.
