SPEND 10 DAYS CHASING POWDER IN THE FORMER SOVIET STATE OF GEORGIA
Join us as we road trip through a land of endless mountain ranges, valleys and medieval villages unspoilt from modern tourism. Georgia is one of the safest countries in Europe and stays with you long after you visit because of the natural beauty, culture and the insanely good snowboarding and skiing.
In 2021, we’re excited to head back for another incredible ski and snowboard adventure checking out a couple of the best resorts in Georgia including Gudauri and Bakuriani. Both regions offer everything from high alpine peaks, big open bowls, tree runs and wide slopes of pristine, light, dry untracked powder.
The tour is hosted by our Georgian based backcountry snowboard guide who is on-hand to show you the best of each resort using his local knowledge to unlock zones that are beyond the reach of most visitors. For those willing to explore further than the ski area boundaries, there’s splitboard or ski tour options available using additional local guides.
No trip to Georgia is complete without experiencing the cultural and culinary highlights of Tblisi. We spend our final day in the city where you’ll get to experience the famous sulphur baths, explore the local markets and finish off with wine tasting and a traditional Georgian feast.

Georgia is a small country situated on the crossroad of Europe and Asia. From the south-east it has a border with Azerbaijan, from the south – with Armenia and Turkey, from the north - with Russia. The western part of Georgia is washed by the Black Sea. Tbilisi is a capital of Georgia founded in the fifth century.
We spend 4 nights and 3 days exploring Gudauri. The resort is located on the southern slopes of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range. The resort is situated in the Kazbegi region near the Cross Pass. The lifts network starts at 1,992 m and reaches an altitude of 3,276 m at its highest top station.
We spend 4 nights and 3 days exploring the 3 resorts of Bakuriani – Didveli, Kokhta and Mitarbi. The 3 resorts are situated on the northern slope of Trialeti Range, at the foot of the breathtaking Caucasus Mountains. The ski areas are situated between the elevations of 1,740 and 2,702 m. Didveli is the largest, highest and and most developed (2702 m), Kokhta is the oldest ski area (2155 m) and Mitarbi is the newest resort (2296 m).
SNOW & CONDITIONS
The Caucasus Mountain Range offers great snow conditions from mid-January until mid-April. The area receives an average of 15 m of snowfall per year. Due to colder temperatures, light and dry powder is most likely to be found in early February to early March. Even if we don’t get fresh snow overnight, the altitude and our local knowledge will ensure you’ll be able to ride light dry snow days after a storm.
We offer one of the smallest client to guide ratio’s in the industry which ultimately leads to a better experience for everyone. Our small groups allow greater manoeuvrability and ease of access to the best areas a destination can offer. When we are on mountain, our guest to guide ratio is maximum 6 people per guide. This also makes for a more personal experience between our guests and guides.
We make sure all our guests stay in quality accommodation that’s in the best location. Throughout the tour you’ll stay in 4 star hotels which have great facilities. Our comfortable twin share rooms are equipped with 2 single beds and each room has a great heating, private ensuite bathroom, TV, and free WiFi. Breakfasts and dinners are included throughout the tour.
